TAYCO is one of the most active youth organisations in Tanzania that works with young people across all ages and recommended by the Ministry of Youth in Tanzania. In relation to this project TAYCO areas of focus as listed below has a direct relationship with the project in question.

i) Ethics, leadership and good governance
TAYCO advocates for the observance of the culture of good governance and ethics. TAYCO therefore strives to create a generation of young people who are conscious of ethics and obedient to principles of good governance. We also believe that a healthy and progressive nation can be created when every citizen takes leadership and decisions on matters regarding their lives, as long as they are within the guidance and abide by the laws of the land. TAYCO therefore conducts leadership programmes for youth inside and outside schools and colleges.

ii) Youth Empowerment
In promotion of positive thinking and positive growth, TAYCO stands for youth empowerment and capacity building through trainings so as to give the necessary know-how for young people to actively take part in the global economy while upholding a responsible and decent livelihood.

iii) Culture
TAYCO believes that the culture of self-dependence as a result of personal skills and knowledge plays a tremendous role in development and advancement of the country. There is a need to involve young people at different academic levels on vocational education and training in promotion of self-employment in our society and at the global.
